FANTASTIC news for all of you movie fans out there. Thanks to Borys Kitt from the Hollywood Reporter, it appears that the latest info on Quentin Tarantino’s next project has been revealed. This time the director will be tackling another real-life event – The Manson Murders. This may come as surprise to many because in recent interviews he has entertained the thought of directing another Western, Kill Bill Vol. 3 or possibly a biopic about the infamous abolitionist, John Brown.
Although not much is known about the plot, it will be VERY interesting to see how Tarantino approaches it. Will he stay true to a specific incident that occurred or will it be another situation where he takes creative liberties and changes the reality of events such as how he did in Inglorious Basterds?
Tarantino plans to shoot the film in early 2018, as he is finishing up the script. It’s been reported that Brad Pitt along with Jennifer Lawrence have both been approached to star in the film. Deadline also reported that he has been meeting with Margot Robbie to possibly portray Sharon Tate (who was the wife of director, Roman Polanski). Even though none of the casting has been confirmed yet, this is extremely intriguing.
